WHAT IS CHEEK ENHANCEMENT AND WHAT PRODUCT DO YOU OFFER?

Ageing causes the loss of volume and shape of our cheeks. Fillers help to immediately increase the volume and return the cheeks to a higher and fuller position, achieving a more youthful look.

We utilise Revolax Sub-Q, Juvéderm Ultra 4 or Voluma to restore and fill in lost facial volume and shape. They are safely biodegraded naturally by the body over time, lasting 6 to 9 months for Juvéderm Ultra and 12 to 18 months for Juvéderm Voluma and Revolax. Juvéderm and Revolax dermal fillers are effective alternatives to permanent cheek implants which may occasionally move or cause problematic infections.

WHAT DOES THE PROCEDURE INVOLVE?

Initially, optional numbing cream can be applied if clients prefer for additional comfort 15 to 20 minutes before the procedure. Then, the target area is cleaned with antiseptic and marked using a make-up pencil prior to treatment. This is to mark and localise the optimum site for enhancement. We always involve our clients when deciding the results we would like to achieve and treatment can be personalised.

Carefully selected injections sites enable the treatment to be relatively painless, and we often explain to clients that you may feel some pressure sensations during the injections. Small quantities of Juvederm dermal fillers are slowly injected and placed above the cheek bone. Next, we massage and sculpt the cheeks to enhance the effects of the fillers.

Usually, the outcome is immediate and will last between 6 to 18 months (depending on product used). A plan for regular follow-up treatments to maintain the initial result can be tailored for you. There is always the option to further refine future injections to your personal tastes and preferences due to the non-permanent nature of the treatments.
